Mesa, AZ - We celebrate the life of Ann Marie Rock, who passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on October 8, 2025. Born on January 25, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, Ann made her home in Mesa, Arizona.

Ann is lovingly remembered by her sons: Jack Bialik (Sandy), Robert Bialik (Rhonda), and James Bialik (Patty); her sister Jackie Radeka (Robert); stepdaughters Beverly Holcomb, Betty Haines, and Conni Mingus, nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her extended family.

Ann embraced life with enthusiasm. She enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking, baking, and solving crossword puzzles. As the wife of a railroad executive, she moved frequently with her family, collecting stories and experiences along the way. As she often said, "You haven't lived if you don't have stories." Her passion for arts and crafts inspired her to teach "paper tolling" at her own shop, Arts by Ann, in LaVale, Maryland.

A dedicated community member, Ann was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 3522 in Charles Town, West Virginia, where she served in various roles. She was also active in the Sons & Daughters of Italy in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, where she and her husband Bill spent their winters. After relocating to Arizona, she continued her involvement with the Sons & Daughters of Italy with the Bilotti Lodge 2540 in Mesa, participating in many activities.

Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Rock, Jr., parents Jack and Mary Marretta and stepson William C. Rock.

Her family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
